In 2017, we had the immense privilege to visit Kakimori in person, situated in lower Tokyo, in the Kuramae neighbourhood. This region is home to many workshops, artisans and independent businesses who all take pride in their community and traditions.

We were struck by the love and respect for writing instruments and paper at Kakimori, and they remain a huge inspiration for us to this day! We are honoured to be able to offer their products at Nueva Era.
