This spring, Kaweco presents the beautiful Collection Toyama Teal fountain pen!
This model is inspired by Toyama Bay, a prefecture in Japan. During this time of year, the surface of the water sparkles with a thousand lights, thanks to a rare and spectacular phenomenon: bioluminescence. This is caused by groups of firefly squids inhabiting these marine waters.
This pen features a subtle shimmer mimicking the glowing waters.

In 1883, in Heidelberg in Germany, a wooden pen factory was born: the Heidelberg pen factory. This factory was eventually renamed Kaweco, in 1889, by its new owners, Heinrich Koch and Rudolph Weber. In 1911, the Kaweco Sport line was created. This smaller pen was designed at the time for athletes—hence the name Sport. In 1971, Kaweco even produced pens dedicated to the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich! Kaweco is one of the most popular brands in the writing instruments market today. |
