Made in Germany, this simple pencil sharpener can be used with many types of pencils, including colored pencils.
Since it is made of brass, it will darken over time and thus develop a unique appearance.
| In 1908, in Germany, Theodore Paul Mobius created the famous cone-shaped pencil sharpener. He then decided to found the oldest German pencil sharpener manufacturing company, which at that time bore his name. On the other hand, in 1980, DUX took charge of his company, since the sales of lead pencils were in decline; ballpoint pens had just been invented and were gaining popularity. Nowadays, DUX pencil sharpeners are produced in Geretsried in Bavaria and are easily recognizable thanks to their vintage appearance.
