Undoubtedly one of the most popular fountain pens today, the Lamy Safari originates from the imagination of designers Wolfgang Fabian and Bernt Spiegel. It was created in 1980, to be used by school-aged children. The pen had to be durable and shock resistant, especially if it was going to be thrown around by kids! Over the years, it has instead become a favorite pen of writing instrument enthusiasts.
The Safari's body is made of very high quality ABS plastic, offering a light weight in the hand. Thanks to a small window located on the barrel, you can always know if there is ink left in your cartridge or converter. Its nib is made of stainless steel and clip is made of chrome-coated metal. An ergonomic grip will allow you to write comfortably for a long period of time!
