We’re happy to bring you a second calligraphy workshop, in partnership with Art is a Verb!

Have you been curious about modern calligraphy and interested in learning more? Join Neelam, professional artist and calligrapher for a relaxing workshop where you’ll be introduced to the basics of brush pen modern calligraphy. Come with a friend, sip coffee, and get reacquainted with your creative side!

This workshop will be held Sunday, May 5th, between 1 PM and 4PM and is specifically for beginners, no prior knowledge or expertise in calligraphy is required.

What your ticket includes:

• Beginner Brush Pen Modern Calligraphy Supply Kit: includes supplies for the workshop that you get to take home with you afterwards! (small tip brush pen, pencil, worksheets)
• Introduction to modern calligraphy
• The basic strokes
• How to form letters
• How to connect letters into words

During this course you will learn what modern calligraphy is, what tools you need to get started, and discover the basic building blocks to creating beautiful lettering with your own hands (and yes, this workshop is for both right-handed and left-handed folks!).

Whether you’re a budding calligraphy enthusiast or simply looking for a creative crafty outing with a loved one, this workshop is a perfect fit.

This workshop sits 6 participants allowing an intimate group and one-on-one experience with Neelam to learn and ask questions. It lasts approximately 2.5hrs and is offered in English (Neelam will absolutely do her best to accommodate any French-speaking students. Her French skills are beginner/intermediate).
