Undoubtedly one of the most popular fountain pens of our time, the Lamy Safari comes from the imagination of designers Wolfgang Fabian and Bernt Spiegel. It was created in 1980, to be used by school-age children. The pen therefore had to be shock-resistant, especially if it was going to be thrown into the air or thrown on the ground! Over the years, it has rather become the preferred pen of great lovers of writing instruments.
Its body is mainly made of high quality ABS plastic, giving it a light weight. Thanks to a small window located on the barrel, you can always know if there is ink left in its cartridge or in its tank. Its tip is made of stainless steel and its clip is made of chrome-coated metal. Its ergonomic grip will allow you to write comfortably for a long period of time!

It all began in 1930, when Josef Lamy, formerly a sales representative at The Parker Pen Company in Germany, laid the first stone for what would become one of the most popular writing instrument companies of our day: LAMY . Today, LAMY is still located in Heidelberg and its pens, which have won several design awards, are recognized for their simplicity, reliability and high quality.
